Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I'm fairly well educated, and can participate in some fairly robust conversations, if you like the intellectual type. I'm also a devotee of the Oxford comma. Amongst my more notable hobbies is classic film appreciation, complete with various odd facts about said films (think something along the lines of Pierce Brosnan on his old TV series, [I]Remington Steele[/I]...). I am a Trekkie, albeit of the pre-reboot variety. Some years back, I used to go camping regularly; I haven't in a while, but would love to get back into it. I'm also generally regarded as a pretty good cook. Overall, I would typically be described as the shy, retiring type, so you don't need to worry about me trying to make wholesale changes in you and your life. Upon the whole, I'm definitely open to relocating from NY, although even I'm forced to admit that a multi-state romance would be hard to operate at first; on the other hand, for the two right people, nothing is impossible... (Alright, so maybe I'm a bit of a romantic too, albeit in the Byronic sense...)

My Ideal Person Hoping to meet a woman who knows who she is and knows what she wants. If "Tannhauser" means anything to you (other than the passing reference in Blade Runner), then you know what I'm hoping for. Also, if you do get the Blade Runner reference, then we've got a pretty good chance...
